I’m curious if the author is distinguishing the difference between a *legal* immigrant and an *illegal* immigrant? There is truly a huge difference. This story seems to be covering the dignity of *legal* immigrants (people who stand in line at the grocery store like the rest of us), not *illegal* immigrants (people who cut in line at the grocery store).
Donald Trump is very openly supportive of (legal) immigrants and (legal) immigration. For example, he has been more openly supportive of H1B Visas for intelligent people in STEM programs (mostly Chinese) than other candidates. So, if you’re a woman from China planning to make a new life for yourself in America (legally), Hillary Clinton will kick you out, but if you're an illegal immigrant from Mexico who is ready to be exploited by cheap labor, you're welcome to stay!
Trump’s mother was a Scottish immigrant, and he speaks very openly about her immigration story. Trump’s dad was a German immigrant. So, it seems ridiculous to think that he would disgrace his own family’s dignity as you’re suggesting in this article. What he is trying to change laws on is *illegal* immigration.
I am not into clicking on ads of any kind usually, but I wouldn’t refrain from clicking on them for the reasons you’re suggesting.
